The Embankment

The owners of The Embankment, Bedford has launched a new social enterprise at this pub and its sister pub The Boathouse, Boulters Lock, near Maidenhead. The Embankment Pub Hub will be open for click and collect pre-orders, every Thursday, Friday, Saturday with essential goods, takeaway, ready meals, wine, beer and soft drinks. As they raise essential funds, they will supply those on the frontline, and others most in need with free meals. The King's Head, Bledingdon

The King's Head, Bledingdon has launched Takeaway - including all your favourite classics, side dishes and pints of beer. They have you covered - and pickup is no contact - at the bus shelter next to the pub. TEXT orders to Archie on 07887837246 together with your collection time (they need your order 24 hours before your pick up time) and you will then be texted back with the total amount payable, including bank details for you to pay into. The Cary Arms Spa in Devon want to tempt you to book for late in the year: Zero deposit on any new reservations made for between September 1st and December 23rd this year. Absolutely no deposit will be required, until 4 weeks before your check in date. Also anyone with a flight or holiday cancelled because of coronavirus will also be given £100 credit to spend in the bar, restaurant or spa. Redeemable when staying for at least 2 nights in 2020.
