Explore one of England's most fascinating estates - home to the British National Motor Museum, Palace House and Gardens, and the ruins of a medieval abbey - in the heart of the New Forest. Your admission ticket lets you see everything on the estate, which has been in the ownership of the Montagu family for more than four centuries.

Don't miss the British National Motor Museum, which was founded by the current Lord Montagu and boasts one of the finest collections of cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia anywhere in the world. Here, you can admire the 285 vehicles on display, which tell the story of Britain's motoring history from 1875 to the present day. Top Gear fans shouldn't miss the World of Top Gear, where you can see the actual cars used in the challenges that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May undertook over the years.

For something a little more sedate, go for a meander through Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538, which is full to the brim with family treasures, portraits and memorabilia. Then wander through the ruins of Beaulieu Abbey, which has an exhibition and film of monastic life, and round off with a visit to the Secret Army Exhibition, which tells the story of wartime Beaulieu and the training of secret agents. You can get around the site via monorail, an open top bus or on foot.
